I am reaching out to you to enquire if you are able to assist me with a
role I’m looking to recruit, not sure if this would be something that would

taking the time to review.

My client is a leader in delivering solutions which help their clients to
protect and enhance their business operations in a connected world, their
solutions combine large-scale data exploitation, classified grade security
and complex services and solutions integration. Typical clients would be
leading enterprises and government departments who use their solutions to
protect and optimize their physical infrastructure, mission-critical
systems, valuable intellectual property and corporate information.

Due to expansion they now require an experienced a technical *Systems
Integrator* to join the team here in Toronto on a permanent basis. In this
role you will be responsible for providing the critical skills necessary to
implement, integrate, administer and tune applications and configure the
hosting infrastructure supporting these applications. Taking ownership of
infrastructure analysis and design phases, application implementations and
infrastructure planning, monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting. You
will participate in client and supplier workshops and have a good knowledge
of the technologies and tools associated with configuring and deploying
their product onto its target hosting infrastructure. Please note than this
is not an operational role and will be project focused.

Technical Requirements;

Linux scripting and SQL database experience are both key technical
requirements, only candidates with strong experience in both these areas
shall be considered for this position. Large scale Cisco network
understanding would be highly advantageous.

Deployment of COTS applications, Linux (Red Hat or CentOS), OpenSSH,
OpenSSL, CRON services, BASH scripting, SNMP, Python & Java. SAS
Application Servers. Basic networking: HTTP, HTTPS, proxies, load
balancing, VPN. Oracle administration, JDBC, SQL scripting, J2EE concepts,
EAR & WAR packaging, JDBC data sources. Application server installation,
configuration, logging, tuning. Particularly JBoss. Active Directory, LDAP,

Knowledge of:

Server hardening; VMware and Virtual Machines, Networking, Firewalls
(Cisco), VPNs, Load Balancing, Penetration testing, Microsoft Office
