Green screens work best, but it can be any plain colour. A plain white wall
as your background works fine for most people.

I usually found the kits to be overpriced. Easier and cheaper to buy the
frame and fabric separately.

As for potential backgrounds, they're everywhere now. A search on "zoom
backgrounds" yields lots of choice.
